We’ve been in Madison, Wisconsin for a few days, and our go-to bar has been Pitcher’s Pub! 🍻 This place is packed with fun — 16 pool tables, 10 dart boards, 4 foosball tables, and even 2 Golden Tee golf games! 🎱🎯⛳️
They host pool and dart leagues, plus Trivia Fridays at 6 PM with gift card prizes for the winners. The atmosphere is always lively, the bar food is amazing, and the prices are hard to beat.
If you’re in the Madison area, Pitcher’s Pub is a must-visit for games, good food, and great vibes all around!

This is a great sports bar with friendly staff, good food, and great atmosphere. Lots of TVs, pool tables, dart boards, football, and gaming. We were there foe trivia night. Great crowd!

I had the tuna melt sandwich this afternoon and man, that was a gooooood sandwich! I had that thing gone in minutes and probably could’ve gone for another. I love that they have Suncruiser as well!

We go every Friday for trivia. The food is really good. The drinks are basic and excellent. They have pool tables and an outside area to get some air. This place has become one of our favorites. Casual and easy

Just want to start by saying the service at Pitcher Pub is phenomenal! From the drinks to the food and everything in between. Some of the best bar food and drinks in the Madison area! The prices are amazing compared to a lot of bars in the area. The thing that puts this bar at the top of the list for me wasn’t just the great food and bartenders but the bouncers! I would normally never consider what bar I’m going to based off of the bouncers. But Pitchers bouncers go above and beyond. The bouncer offering to walk me to my car at bar time. I was walking out alone and he walked out behind me and said let me walk you to your car. He didn’t come all the way to my car he stayed an appropriate distance for me to feel safe and waited till I was in my car to walk back into the bar. It’s not often you can leave a bar at bar time alone as a woman and feel safe.

Brian Martz and his Butcher cut buddy went from denying service animals to, “we are denying you service” solely because “word travels fast and I embarrassed Madison becase an out of line cop put hands on me in public and it was caught on video”
Im sorry your town doesnt like out of towners. I didn’t embarrass Wisconsin, I broke down in your town and it’s clear we live in 2025 and business owners clearly don’t understand ADA compliance.

Where else can you enjoy this level of service, atmosphere and discernment? Not sure but lemme know if you find out. If gen x existed objectively I think they would greatly enjoy the nostalgia. But my experience suggests otherwise. Just go and say please and thank you a lot.

Ordered what I think was called the deluxe grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, mayo, on I believe, a brioche bun. I thought it was really tasty, tender and the right combo of ingredients.
Only issue was that our party was three couples who placed three consecutive orders....but all the orders were served at least :15 to :20 minutes apart. We ended up eating in groups of two....by the time the next order came to the table the other two were already finished eating 😅.
But everyone agreed that their food was good, and no food waste, if you know what I mean, yum!

One of my favorites, Pitcher's Pub has been a great neighborhood bar and Madison staple for decades. It has a ton of TVs which makes it great for watching sports. It's a large place, so you have room to spread out or meet a group without worry. The staff is very friendly and lots of fun. Known for their signature drink the Swamp Water, plus a ton of dart boards, foosball tables and pool tables! The food is quite good and they often feature daily specials. We usually get the cheese curds as they are excellent but recently discovered their chicken wings are outstanding! Trivia on Fridays and dart and pool leagues throughout the year. You can't miss. Great place to relax and watch the game or play some yourself.

Great neighborhood bar and grill with lots of great food options. I've been here a number of times and the first thing you notice is the size. It's a big place with lots of fun stuff - Pool, Darts, Foosball, Golden Tee. They have a large bar area too with a great selection of taps and bottles to choose from. The food is delicious. I usually get the burger with cheese curds. Both are amazing. The Chicken Club is one of my favorites too. Recently I tried their chicken wings and WOW - I didn't know what I was missing. Full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly and lots of fun. Fantastic place to watch Sports too as they have lots of HUGE TVs. Great energy during Packer games. Ask about specials too as they often feature unique food and events.
