Great food, classic steakhouse ambiance. Martini and smoked old fashioned were spot on. Genevieve, our server, was fantastic. She put in tremendous effort to make my wife and me feel incredibly special on our anniversary. You'll pay a little more than other steak places around Madison but felt it was well worth it.
It was an anniversary splurge dinner. Our server was so charming and bubbly - but not at all obtrusive. The crab cake was a great appetizer presentation. Not a sub for a main. It was perfectly crisp on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. Husband had a hugely portioned watermelon salad - he ate practically the whole thing. The ribcap steak was new to me. It was like the perfect combination of filet and ribeye. Will definitely be back for that! The creamed spinach...
Scallops were cooked to perfection. Lobster salad sliders were okay. Not a lot of lobster and too much bread. Price for this item is too high. Caesar salad was good. Espresso martinis good but very bitter. Chocolate cake fantastic and bananas foster made tableside is a special treat. All-in-all a nice dinner. Pricey but nice.
