I had no idea this place existed, but saw that they were hosting a valentines making card event. It was a dream! The host, Lola, is truly amazing and made everyone so at home. Everything you could have wanted was there: arts+crafts supplies, soft jazz music, coffee, wine, and baked goods. The baker even put together wonderful, custom chocolate boxes for the event. Creativity was encouraged and there was a friendly card making competition for anyone who wanted to win a fun prize.

We usually LOVE Reverie, but unfortunately we had a poor customer service experience today. We walked in at 7:30 and ordered one coffee, one pastry, and one latte. The coffee and pastry came out right away. We waited patiently for the latte… 15 minutes went by… the whole time, the barista was visibly distracted as she was giggling and chatting with someone at the bar. We watched her stop the conversation to take a couple orders, then return to chatting at the bar. Finally...

Very low-key neighborhood place. Absolutely delicious scones!. Once I had almond cherry made with almond flour so gluten-free and another time I had a rhubarb scone. Just slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Great coffee. Really chill staff.
