The papaya salad is refreshing and delicious, and the beef jerky is delicious, but it requires a lot of chewing, so I wouldn't recommend it. The rice is served in a wooden container, and it is chewy, fragrant, and delicious. The noodles in rich soup that my wife ordered were also very delicious. I first came to Rising Sons in 2014 and it’s become a mandatory stop during our week in Madison every summer since. The food is not fancy but really good, and there are some items that manage to shine a bit more than others on the menu.
