Sultan is such a worthwhile dining experience! Every plate is delicious, the seasonal menus are a delight, and lab nights are so fun and fresh! Love unique twists on cocktails and intimate but still lively atmosphere.

It was "lab night" at Sultan, and they were doing four dishes with the option to order another round of items you liked. The food was excellent and the $40 meal price (includes gratuity) offered very good bang for the buck. The naan (which we refilled twice) was thick on the rim, tasty, and very garlicky. It was paired with an onion, hmmm, chutney or pate which was very flavorful. Had a nice smokey cocktail, monkey paw I think it was called, with Scotch and smoke in it. A duck jambalaya, rice, brown sauce, duck, spices. Very tasty and we did get a second bowl of it later. Delicota squash from the tandoori oven with pickled radish on it. Great texture to the squash, great combo with the pickle as well. A vegan chili with carrots which was good, but not spectacular, spicing had some cardamom in it taking the flavor profile to between south asian and latin american. My partner ate most of the dessert which was a not-too-sweet shortbread carmelized on the bottom. It was an excellent meal, first time I had been to Sultan. Highly recommended.

We had the Gulab Valentines 4 course meal and it was flawless! The service, the flavors, the preparation, the presentation- everything. It was amazing! I would call it gourmet. I can't wait to return! Thank you @Sultan for a memorable experience!

We came for the Gulab Valentines dinner and Oh. My. Gosh. This was genuinely one of the best meals we have ever eaten. This was an experience like no other! The flavors of every dish were perfectly balanced and everything was incredibly delicious. The chef and wait staff were extremely kind as well! I can’t wait to come back!

Fine.

But for the price... Your dollar will go further else where. The duck was tough and tasted like charcoal. Worked up the courage to send it back. It was the first thing I've sent back in my entire life. They would not refund.

I cannot recommend. And will never go back myself.

I really enjoyed Lab Night. I liked how I didn’t have to make any decisions about what to order, and each course was a fun surprise! All the food was delicious, though the courses did get spicier and spicier. I needed extra raita to eat the last dinner dish. Dessert did not disappoint either - coconut samosa; yum!

Quiet, sleek atmosphere, delicious food with large variety. Went on a Lab night, so did not order off a menu but instead received 5 different dishes that were all all you can eat and included vegetarian, meat, soup, bread, curries, and rice. Was a great date night experience pre seeing Hamilton for my wife and me.

Great food. Some dishes were a little small to share but overall tasty. FYI the cheesecake is made with goat cheese, we did not know that, and was very disappointed. Our server, Madison was awesome!!!

first time eating here with a friend. We absolutely loved every moment of our night out with Sultan. I love eating out and I have never left a review, but... The food was delicious sharing small plates was easy but the table did get quite crowded. The drinks were excellent. The service was pleasant, informative, and prompt without being overbearing. During our meal we kept saying how we couldn't wait to come back to try more. Thank you, I will certainly be back.

The Secrets of the Guild tasting menu was fantastic. Great flavors, good portions, and lovely service and explanations. The cocktail pairings were excellent as well and thoughtfully complimented the food. Wonderful experience!

Lab nights are so fun!! I do wish they had some sort of advice about what the menu would be so we can plan for dietary restrictions.

Was there on a weeknight which are their lab nights. No menu and instead they bring you dishes they have been working on. The food was incredible and the service was great. Will definitely be back!

My experience : I flew in from Denver to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, I couldn't help but notice the racial discrimination. We were the first to arrive but were the last to be served in every way. Plates were piled high. We had only 1 drink and 1 glass of water the whole dinner. Unlike other guests, we weren't offered to return or join their program. This is a great restaurant for the widely accepted, but as a frequent open table diner and high-end diner, this was my first experience of such outcasting. So, if you go, try to look the part to get the best experience. The review you came for: The pricing is great. The rabbit was over-spiced, though. The Yukon gold and paneer korma was phenomenal. The garlic naan had generous portions and was delicious. They have an amazing tandoori oven. No tipping is allowed, which was a first for me. I can appreciate that they pay their employees a livable wage.

Stopped by with my partner for an impulsive dinner on a Friday night and did the a la carte menu.

Cocktails were good and the food was really solid. We did the brussels sprouts, aloo paneer shahi korma, salmon, and wing biryani. Everything was fantastic, but the sprout dish was a little spicier than my partner could handle. I personally loved it.

Get the naan. And then get more naan. It's the best thing we ate.
