“We had Birria Tacos and Chorizo Taco & Chips with Gua on the side. Let me start with freshness, chips was hot and freshly fried, which we found vey rare. Chorizo was well done and tasty. Service was very fast, it took hardly 5 min to get the food served at table. Coming back for sure.“

“We ordered take out from the Cottage Grove Rd location. Our food was hot and delicious! My phone call was answered by the owner himself and handled with courtesy. He accommodated by vegetarian diet with no issues.“

“Fun suprise. The Diablo corn was fantastic. Also grabbed an order of the brisket nachos. Also really good. Was not able to finish the nachos. All while having a frosty beverage from the tap. Going to stop again really soon. Sat out on the sidewalk at a table. Side Street was not overly busy and was shaded.“

“Taco Madre is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve eaten at in the Madison area. The salsas were very good, the drinks were good, and our food was great! We had a torta with carne asada and the enchiladas rancheras. Super great! Will definitely go back again! Oh! Also our waitress was super nice and the environment was very welcoming!“

“I usually love bear and bottle but my food and service were just bad today I’ve had this server before and they just aren’t attentive Had to go to bar for my second drink Normally food is very good but taco dip has huge chunks of cream cheese Server left my food at edge of table for more that fifteen minutes which attracted flies I love the open air aspect of this spot bit of your food is left for that long…. Flies come to you. I will only eat at the bar from now on. Bar service is amazing“

“Cute atmosphere. A little overpriced. Chicken Taco way over seasoned . Recommend adding simple tacos for children or others that enjoy the basic taco. Bandito delicious ! I’ve never been where you have to pay for chips & salsa . Adding in fountain soda would be a plus .“
