I ordered the Mahi Fish Tacos. Each order includes three tacos featuring citrus-marinated Mahi Mahi, chipotle aioli, salsa verde, and crisp nappa cabbage, all nestled in soft corn tortillas and served with a side of fries. The tacos were simply divine, bursting with freshness and flavor. The Mahi Mahi was exceptionally fresh and delicious. While The Boathouse was charming on the day of my visit, it undoubtedly shines even brighter in the summer, with its picturesque views of the lake.

Was served cheese curds with frozen Ranch because "they forgot to take it out". I asked what other dip options they had that were not frozen and they informed me that they were ALL frozen. They proceeded to try and make it up to me by serving me another basket of curds with spicy Ranch that was heated up, resulting in a separation of the oil. It was disgusting. They were also out of 3 of the beers on their menu that I asked for. At one point the bartender asked me if I could find the beer that I chose on tap....she was very unprofessional. The location of this restaurant is great but that's the only positive aspect.

Great location and view of the lake. Good food. Limited seating in colder weather. Slow service. Table service upstairs seems like it is an after thought. Not really worth the effort to get to in winter.

FLIES. You will find your interest and appetite slowly disappear, as the occasional fly swarms your head. Not the first time you choose to come here, instead EVERY-TIME! After your dining is cut short by literal bar flies, you'll walk up to your room. The buzz you have left, just might be cut short by bedbugs!

We ordered Mac and cheese and it took almost an hour to get our food after waiting for thirty minutes to place our order. In that hour, we were never checked in by our waitress. Our drinks sat there empty and needing to be refilled. When we finally were given our food, we ordered more drinks and after waiting another 15 minutes after finished eating we just requested the checks. Horrible service. The Mac and cheese was horrible. My husband ordered the jalapeño bison chili and said it was amazing and seasoned so well. It was so unbelievably loud in there.When we first walked in, we walked past the vacant table they would then sit us at and had to wait at the bar for 20 minutes. There were empty tables everywhere.

Never been impressed with the service but thought we would once again give it another try since only place to eat by boat except the Union...asked to sit outside and told 30 minutes so we chose to sit inside. After 15 minutes of no service and the people that came in after us and asked to sit outside, got seated outside...We LEFT! I said something to the hostess and she said nothing, manager may have been standing there as well!

Food is ok. Not exceptional but not bad. Location is amazing and drinks are good decently priced and will keep going back for snacks and drinks. Also huge cheese curds.

We had a delicious meal, a great waiter, and we ate outside with a view of the water. We did not find any of the prior reviews to be true. We stayed at the Vue Hotel & the Boathouse is there. We will return for sure.

arrived late in the evening and wanted to order food to take back to hotel to eat we made our order and left our number and went for a stroll no call came in and we walked back to check out on our order it was there bagged up and ready we had to ask for it paid and left and once at hotel -disappointed they did not pack any utensils or condiments sadly our food was cold and we had to eat it as finger food which didn't cut it as we had order salad and pasta and other dishes
