I’ve tried a lot of bubble tea in Madison and The Bubbling Teapot is definitely the best! It was the best when it was Jade Mountain too and I’m so glad it didn’t change—in fact I think it got even better.

Stopped by here with my wife and toddler on our walk home from the library. I got the peach fruit tea, my wife had the black milk tea (with coconut milk) and the kiddo had the herbal blueberry tea. We also ordered the barbecue pork, sweet potato and vegetable steamed buns. Everything was good, my wife and I ordered ours half sweet and I think that's about perfect. The kid's was on the sweet side but he didn't complain. The buns were good, nothing earth shattering but they hit the spot on our walk home.
They also have a good number of board games you can play while you're there and three buckets of different sized sidewalk chalk to play with in their nice outside seating area. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is such a fantastic bubble tea shop. They have a fantastic assortment of teas and food options, as well. It's got a super cozy atmosphere with table games available to play while enjoying your drink.

Got the Matcha Mint Oatmilk Seasonal drink & the Taro Milk Tea w/ Boba. Both were so good, sweet but not overly decadent, could actually taste the Green tea in mine which made my day 😊
Also, had to snap pictures of their ambient, it’s so cozy and welcoming… plus they have board games, books, & staff with great customer service ✨🫶🏽

The best creamiest taro slush ever! And the pearls have a fresh texture. Pork and Cabbage bao and pickled veggie bao are authentic and comforting. Definitely a new favorite bubble tea spot!!

I always greatly enjoy visiting Bubbling Teapot. Tasty coffee and steam buns, delectably sweet thai iced teas, super-cozy atmosphere, pleasant working conditions, tasteful (and tastefully quiet!) soundtrack -- what more could you want!

Super cute and atmospheric tea shop! If you love nerd and fantasy stuff, please check it out! The pot stickers and bao buns were super yummy too. They have games and books as well! Def will be back.

I love my drinks in the morning but I don’t love the idea of going to Starbucks, so I’ve been looking for a replacement for quite some time. I tried this place yesterday and was blown away. My food and drink were incredibly satisfying. Plus I love how it’s not crazy packed and it’s reasonably priced.

Best bubble tea in Madison by a large margin. If you loved Jade Mountain like I did, this is the perfect replacement as the offerings are almost exactly the same.

A must go for any bubble tea enthusiasts

I have been here twice now and both of the employees were very pleasant and patient with me. The atmosphere of the cafe is quaint and accommodating. It’s seems like the employees really care about their customers. The milk tea tastes great too. I’ll have to try some of their food next time.

Parking: Limited street parking and small parking lot nearby. Probably best to take a bicycle or walk if possible

Food - had black sugar milk tea. Absolutely amazing, wasn't a real wait while it was busy

Service - quick understand and helpful.

Atmosphere - loud, but a great vibe highly recommend for a date addon or something to fill time!

Parking: Parking time is 30 minutes. This why it's a stop and go place in my opinion

This is my favorite place for tea. Bar none.

The staff are sweet, the teas are amazing (hot oolong is my favorite, it smells like plum trees), and I’m grateful for it being such a cozy space for games and good company. I’ve actually made at least 3 new friends here!

An old friend of mine loves the large glasses, commenting to me that it looks a little like a fantasy tavern that way. So in that spirit:

Start your adventure here, assemble a good party, & come back here after you’ve all saved the day.
