I used to love this place, but after my most recent experience, their reputation has been tainted for me. I've introduced friends and family to this place and have celebrated special occasions here. My partner and I arrived just before a rush, spent over $50, and were told our wait time would be 15-20min. After waiting 40 minutes, and seeing 10+ people receive their food BEFORE us (all of which ordered after us), we approached the counter and asked what the delay was. We were told the order had been given away and they "don't know what to tell us". The man at the counter was dismissive, unapologetic, and did nothing to rectify the situation. After asking for a refund, we were told the order could be rushed and finished in less than 10minutes (we had been waiting an hour at this point). There was no compensation offered. Hands down, the worst experience we have had here thus far. Very disappointing.

I've never written a review before, but I felt that I should today. My partner and I were one of the first to order and were the last to receive our food. We waited almost an hour! No exaggeration. They "accidently' gave our order to a walk-in instead of us. The cashier guy showed little to no care. We spent over $50+, I used to love this place. I don't understand how this happened. We received NO compensation either.

very chill spot. food is good, as the name implies they have a veriety of different cuisines served there although i’d say it centers on indian/ east asian food. it is a little expensive but you get big portions and the service is great so i can’t complain about it much at all.

I ordered Uber Eats from this place and the momo was a disaster. The taste was very bad and the sauce was way too salty. I also ordered jhol momo and the jhol was also not good. I know what momo should taste like, being a Nepali myself and this did not even come close. I would not recommend anyone to get momo from here. Not sure about any other items in the menu though.

The food was absolutely amazing, especially the curry, and the price is reasonable. I was in town for a week for work training, and I ate there every evening. Owners and staff are wonderful.
The Globe is my favorite restaurant in Madison. The food is wonderful and they will make it hot (spicy) if you ask! Their curries are my comfort food. I haven’t found a single (vegan/vegetarian) thing on the menu that I dislike. I would give it a 5 star rating if I could.

We checked the menu online and decided this was the place for us and the kids on our day trip to Madison. Inside is small, but we ordered at the counter and we sat at their outdoor seating on this beautiful 80 degree Oct day. I ordered jambalaya, wife ordered Korean tacos, and kids got tofu fried rice. Everything was absolutely amazing and they give you a choice of how spicy you would like Everything. I enjoy spicy and ordered a 3 out of 5 for spice and it was perfectly spicy. I can only imagine how hot a 5 is. Can't wait to come back our next time in town.
