Ugly apple catered an event for us- food was great! The breakfast sandwiches and the paczkis were a big hit.

Ugly Apple Cafe catered my wedding celebration brunch this past weekend, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Their selection of options was impressive, featuring a delightful array of pastries, vegetarian choices, and savory dishes that catered to all tastes. Every item was beautifully prepared, presented, and delicious. Laurel was great to work with, and her staff was friendly and attentive. Ugly Apple Cafe truly made my wedding celebration brunch an unforgettable experience—highly recommend for any event! Five stars! ?????

The owner is such a sweet woman. Our son dropped his donuts this morning and she gave us free replacements almost immediately because she was there doing deliveries at the orchard. You made my son’s morning! He was heartbroken that he dropped his food. What a wonderful turn of events and unexpected compassion in today’s world. Thank you for being better.

Laurel is super easy to work with, the food is amazing, and she is super awesome about helping you stay in a budget when it comes to catering. I would definitely recommend booking catering through the Ugly Apple Cafe!

Our baby shower luncheon at Olbrich Gardens last weekend was so good! Ugly Apple prepared delicious pulled pork and sides for us. The cupcakes and lemon bars were also delicious! We will definitely use you again! Thank you!

Oh my god, the pączkis!!!! I ate 3 in one sitting. Oops. If only these tasty Polish treats came around more than once a year. Excited to try the rest of their baked goods!

Always love stopping here! Usually not in the courthouse for a fun time but when there the staff is friendly and kind making the day not all so bad!

I love the delicious soups, salads, sandwiches and bakery treats Ugly Apple offers at their cafe (inside the Dane Co Courthouse)! Local sourcing and the staff are super friendly, too.

Laurel and the team did the entire catering for my wedding and it was absolutely the best decision we could have made. We had buffet-style appetizers, dinner, and desserts through Ugly Apple and everything was amazing. We were able to get options to suit all the dietary needs of our guests and Laurel was so clear about communicating allergens and working with our needs. The food was delicious (so were the leftovers!) - we got lots of compliments from our guests. They were responsive, so kind and helpful on the day, and so easy to work with. 100% would recommend working with them for any event needs - and stopping by the cafe for a treat too!

The cafe itself is of course awesome (I loved getting coffee & their delicious pastries/donuts for breakfast when I had jury duty earlier this year!), but this review is mainly for their catering. We used Ugly Apple to cater appetizers for cocktail hour at our wedding and they did a FANTASTIC job. We had so many compliments about all of our food, but people especially loved the taco dip and parmesan pesto pinwheels! The staff was so friendly, responsive, and helpful - both during the initial consult when choosing our menu/quantities, and on our wedding day. They took care of all the set up and packing up leftovers, and even made us each a plate of food so we could try everything (we were definitely too busy to go through the buffet line, so this was such a nice touch!). We also love their overall philosophy of using local produce and minimizing waste. Highly, highly recommend!

The breakfasts at the Monona Farmers' Market are great. Healthy, delicious, and not too much food.

Ugly apple is just the best. I work in the building and I’ve had to stop myself from going downstairs and getting their food so often because it’s too good. Everyone that works there makes the food and lattes with care. I hope to see a second location out where everyone else can enjoy it someday!

Great service, lots of options, and delicious food!

Delicious food right in the courthouse, and the staff are so friendly! Definitely worth a trip through security even if you don’t need to be in the courthouse. So glad they are here!
