Too gloppy and the last two times I dined there, had stomach problems and lost sleep. If you want good pizza, go to ‘La Strada’ @ Memorial Union and hope they’re open and not overcrowded.
Hey, it's pizza in Union South. It's not meant to be a gourmet experience that someday you'll tell your grandkids about. No craft beer, no romantic mood lighting, no clever Ian's in-the-know jokes, and definitely no pretensions. But they do have pizza by the slice and generally it's pretty darn good. Urban Slice was one of my reliable moments of detox during grad school and for a stressed out, semi-broke student, it's exactly what it needs to be.

**EDIT: I went in to the store and spoke with the owner; very kindly listened to my explanation of what had happened. The last time I was in (January), the pizzas were baked properly and definitely looked & tasted better than when I was in 5 months ago! Thanks to Brandon and the Urban Slice staff for the motivation to make things right for their customers!
