Very good service, occasional great fish, but very stingy portions for the price. Good, not great, not a bargain. UPDATE 2026: Sushi portions not a problem these days! Great service, very good portions, excellent quality. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

They seem perpetually understaffed. I don't like picking up Uber Eats orders here. The waitress and the cook both seem nice and like they work hard so i feel a little bad complaining but it's making my job as an Uber Eats driver more difficult. There's only ever one waitress for the entire place no matter how busy gets. Leads to long wait times for to-go orders. And long wait times to even be greeted because the in house guests get priority service. Today there were only two tables in house. They said 15 more minutes at least for my customers delivery order. I had a deadline of 16 minutes to be delivered. When I'm late. It hurts my stats in the app. I earn less when that happens. Then i have to decide between being late or cancelling the customers order. Both options suck. Again, they seem nice here. Not a bad place. Not bad service but slow service and not great for Uber/doordash folks. Hire someone to help y'all!

This place is all around just okay. The tonkotsu ramen pictured was pretty flavorless and also not super hot when served. The gyoza were actually pretty good. In the past I have ordered mackerel and it was not fresh (chewy & salty). There aren’t a ton of choices for Ramen in Madison but IMO you are better going expensive (RED) or budget (Sushi Express) for better value. This doesn’t cut it.

I was in Madison for 72 hours - I ate Yume over 5 times. The sushi is oddly addictive. The walk up the metal steps is magical in a way. I would recommend this spot.

Ordered “pan fried” fried gyoza and futomaki. For my surprise, gyoza was deep fried and they didn’t followed my request on no-avocado on my futomakis. I had to force myself to eat my makis.. impossible to remove the avocado. I had instructions on my uber eats request.

This was some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. I went twice in three days to enjoy their gyoza, fancy salmon roll, Alaska roll, and spicy tuna roll. The service was extremely friendly and kind. I highly recommend.

Sushi was pretty good, and had good flavor. The chicken teriyaki was not good, the flavor wasn't good and the chicken didn't seem fresh. Place could use a VERY DEEP cleaning.
I always order the Puppy Love Roll. The roll is delicious! But I substitute the avocado in it for cream cheese and about half the time, they don’t get it right and then I can’t eat it. Luckily, uber eats gives me a refund, but really, I’d rather have a roll I can eat.

What a cool spot! I'm from Las Vegas, and this place was good enough to be right off the Las vegas strip! So good! My partner and I tried the seaweed salad, konoge, as our apps, and we did the spicy salmon roll, which was much like a Philadelphia roll but with some kick to it! Spicy tuna roll, which was her favorite because it was the spiciest. She likes spice. Crunchy shrimp, which was also delicious! The crunch was perfect, spicy, and tangy, which I really enjoyed! puppy love, which has mango in it, which I surprisingly really liked. The mango freshened it up really nicely! We also had the strawberry sake and the sake mojito, which were both really tasty also! Would definitely recommend this place to our friends and would definitely come back.

This place seriously has the best sushi. I got a Cali roll and a crunchy shrimp roll—both were so good. Super fresh, the shrimp had the perfect crunch, and everything just hit the spot. Chill vibes and awesome service too. 10/10, I’ll be back for sure!
