Went for dinner, service was fast and very friendly. Food was literally amazing. I got the chicken and fries, it was the best fried chicken I’ve had in Madison, the skin was so crispy and perfectly seasoned. My husband got the ribs and they were very very good. Not expensive at all, and they gave us a lot per serving so a really good deal, too. Will be recommending to all our friends for a casual dinner spot on Willy st!

I definitely wish a cole slaw or something fresh to help cut.. but I swear to you if you are a perch person in particular .. some of the very very best you can get in this region .. owner was kind .. and wow food was killer .. make me some cheese curds and slaw and your Madison’s favorite fish fry place for pick up!! Cannot stress enough how good the perch is!!

The delicious smell from the outside smoker drew us in. The owner took our order and then prepped our food in the kitchen which is visibleto customers. It was beyond amazing! The ribs and jerk chicken were some of the best I've ever had. These were paired with generous helpings of black eyed peas, collard greens, and red beans and rice. I will definitely go back anytime I'm in the area.

As we were walking down the street, this amazing jerk chicken smell enticed us to come in. What a great little homey atmosphere. The jerk chicken and ribs were delicious and so many sides. I would definitely recommend this wonderful little place and plan to be back again soon.

A neighborhood stop -- super casual -- not for you if you want high-falootin' white glove service but definitely for you if you want great food at a fair price. We recommend the rib dinner or the fried chicken dinner -- served with Mac and cheese and cornbread. Ribs were meaty, fried chicken served hot and tasty. Diners on the way out also raved about the rib tips. Lots of cooking skills going on back in the kitchen. Friendly service. We'll be back
