Time temperature abuse on the food. Went through and got 6 items, none of them were hot. The people that came with me also went through and got plates of cold food. While they decided to eat, I decided that it wasn't worth the risk. Most of the items had clearly been out for a while and the restaurant wasn't even half full. It is very concerning that they are not checking the temperatures of the food according to health and safety guidelines. The staff was very nice and it seemed clean overall, but mishandled food isn't safe.

This place is amazing🤩. The food and service is great as well as the atmosphere. They have turtles 🐢 and koi fish 🎏 by the entrance. They have plenty of seating. They have a large selection of food of varying quality but decent overall. They have fortune cookies 🥠. They have ice cream🍦 and pizza 🍕. (I really recommended the ice cream 🍦and DO NOT EAT THE PIZZA🍕.)BUT IMPORTANTLY ALMOST EVERY TIME THAT I GO HERE I GET FOOD POISONING BECAUSE OF THE POOR HYGIENE AROUND THE FOOD. 🧫🦠🧫🦠🧫🦠🧫🦠THE SERVING TRAYS AND UTENSILS ARE OFTEN NOT CLEANED THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I'VE THROWN UP SOOOOOOOO MUCH FROM THIS PLACE. IT IS NOT OK. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 But in general this is an amazing place and I would go here anytime 😊 🙏

I was expecting the food to he old and not very good when I visited on a Wednesday night, 1 hr before close and I was pleasantly surprised. It was probably one of the best buffets ive had in the area. Definitely will be returning.

Returned again and this place did not disappoint. Definitely recommend.

As a Chinese buffet fan, while traveling for work i googled “Chinese Buffet near me,” and World Buffet popped up as 0.8 miles away, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try a nearby Chinese food restaurant.

I rate value based buffets on a different scale than fine dining restaurants. I gave World Buffet 5 stars based on the value of the food I got for the reasonable price. If I was using my fine dining scale, I’d probably give a 3.5 star.

The good:
* food was good and tasted like your typical Chinese buffet
* a great selection
* has a sushi buffet included
* has a hibachi grill included
* has a soup station where you pick your ingredients and a cook makes your soup (I’ve never seen that before, which was intriguing)
* food was hot and seemed mostly fresh
* my total bill for dinner on a Monday night was right about $20, and if I pieced together what I would have paid for all I ate as al a carte orders, that would have been $40+, so it’s a good deal
* the sushi was being made fresh in real time and had a nice selection
* the drink server/plate clearing lady was super nice
* the place was very clean (note I did not visit the bathroom, so I’m not sure of the bathroom cleanliness)
* the food was plentiful and nothing was out
* the orange slices were amazing - I made that my dessert
* parking is easy and the location is in a nice safe area that is well lit
* the place was pretty quiet - no TVs on, or people talking on cell phones

The not so good:
* some of the food in the hibachi buffet (the raw ingredients that you put on a plate for the cook to then cook) was literally frozen
* the person that brings you to your table really seemed like they didn’t want to be there
* I wanted to ask some questions about how the “make your own soup” worked, but the cook was on their ear buds on a phone call so I didn’t ask and just skipped the soup station
* I still don’t get why at buffets the receipt still recommends tipping at least 15%, when the staff doesn’t actually serve you (for the record, I did tip 15% - I tip more at restaurants where the servers take your order and serve you)
* the ginger (I think it is) at the sushi bar was in a metal container (per usual), however the ginger was submerged in water making the ginger soggy (I wasn’t sure what the purpose of the water was)

My “not so good list” is relatively pretty minor.
All in all, I’d return when in town next. You just can’t beat all this food with a drink for $20 for dinner!

Friendly and attentive staff. Food was for the most part fresh and delicious. Only complaint is that they had a tray of meat that was cold and was sitting out. Otherwise 5/5

It's a typical Asian buffet. It's good. The food is on the greasier side, it's very neat bit. Dense, but if you're looking for a lot of food with a lot of meat, it's a good choice. The people are very nice. Then the food is tasty, but it's a typical asian buffet

The place was very busy. They had almost every kind of food you can imagine. I loved the Mongolian grill! They had sushi not my thing. I loved it. I was able to try things I've never seen before. My son definitely had his fill which is amazing! I will be back.

Their different chicken dishes are each rendered and juicy. I love the green beans too. Fresh watermelon the perfect dessert

Lunch was enjoyable. Sushi was below par, it all tasted the same. However, there were many dishes that were tasty enough to rate it four star. The soup was the best. It was affordable and the chef will make it to order.

Worst Chinese buffet I have been too. Keep in mind we were here during prime lunch time 12:30pm. Meat was cold, barely any sushi out, and the sushi that was out had no meat in it. Literally a rice roll with some pineapple in it. We thought the Mongolian grill part would be better but that ended up plain over cooked and no flavor. When we did ask for extra flavor/sauces for the stir fry they did not understand what we were saying and pointed out salad dressings. Terrible experience

Sadly, everything all came down to the wait staff, who was basically demanding a tip even before we had left. This was absolutely appalling to witness and be treated as so. Ruined the whole experience 😪 😒.
