“Didn't actually get to go in the tavern, I'm guessing it was closed due to Covid, but the surrounding area is very nice. Besides the bridge and water, there were deer, rabbits, peacocks, geese, and pheasants. There is a suspension bridge here that looks like you'd fall in the water trying to cross it, but it is safe. It's a very picturesque area, and well worth visiting.”

“I worked here when I was 15 and I have always bragged to my husband about her fish fry’s. Well now that we moved up here, I finally got to show him how good it actually is. Last Wednesday as we went to pick up a vehicle we had worked on, we decided in the snow storm to stop. Conversation was great, brought back old memories, and food was fantastic just like I remember. My husband agreed and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything and we can’t wait to bring friends back to enjoy it as much as we did!”

“I am a new employee here my coworkers are awesome. We love it when you come in. Even if we are busy we will try our best to make sure you sandwich is made exactly how you want it. The veggies are free so I'd you would like your sub to be more filled just ask for a little more. We are understaffed at the moment but we are hiring and training new people quickly. If somebody seems like they don't know what they are doing it's because some of us are just learning. Lots of us workers are teens or young adults and we are trying our best to serve you.”

We love the food, it is delicious and so fresh and hot, the veggies are large and crispy, the chicken is so tender and juicy and flavorful as well as the shrimp. We order twice a month. Prices are good too! We order the garlic chicken with vegetables and the garlic shrimp with vegetables. The owners are very friendly and sweet and they allow you to take as many cookies and condiments as you want and never push you to pay a tip. We are lifelongers here! It’s the only restaurant we go to outside of Priaml Eats in Cecil, WI”
