Owners are very rude, had the fish fry a few times and it’s worse then Gordon’s frozen fish the store.. drinks are a bit pricey, nice lake and view but everything else needs work!

First drink was $4.50. Next was $6. Ordered a rare steak sandwich. Confirmed it would be a ribeye. Added mushrooms. Served chopped up dry well done pieces, like a dry French dip (without au jus & they do have a French dip sandwich on the menu). 5 mushroom pieces. Talked with the owner. Was told they "used to have a steak sandwich & that the cook must have chopped it up after tenderizing". A description for the steak sandwich should read "chopped steak". Also ordered the 4 piece Broasted chicken. Overdone. Breading was hard & greasy. The breast was dry. Broasted potatoes and cheese balls (curds) were good. Bloody Mary was good, but not from scratch. Rocky was great and attentive.

The waitress/bartender made my crew and I feel like we were an inconvenience to her. Sad part is it was another establishment that recommended this place. I’ve told others that I know in area not to bother going here.

The food was great. It was hot and delicious. We sat inside by the lake watching the water softly go by. Beautiful.Parking: It's on highway 44. Angled asking. No wheelchair accessible.Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of room for a family.
Great place for a Friday fish fry, right on the Little Green lake! Quality Fish fry, (1 cod, 1 walleye) for only $28. Sunset views are the best. Thanks Lake View Inn!

Lakeview is the only spot in the area we consider going on Saturday nights for the last 20 years. This place has the best broasted chicken around along with walleye on Friday's. Randy and Shanda, the owners, work the bar themselves almost every weekend and Shanda is there all the time during the week! Not very often do you see the owners not soaking up the booze instead of distributing it. However, with the shortness of staff at lakeview they are operating this place with only 5 or 6 people.

We waited for the server to hand us some menus after seating for 20 minutes. I asked for a drink and she took at least 10 minutes getting that to us. There was only one couple other than us there so she didn't have that much to attend to. And then it took her 30 minutes to get us the food. By the time it got to our table it was cold. The fish was mushy on the inside and overcooked on the outside. Seemed like frozen fish. Nasty flavor. We tried the chili. absolutely watered down. And she seemed irritated when I asked for another drink. When I was paying she demanded a tip. From the second we walked in she was rude. Similar experience to one review I just read over

I'm giving this 5 stars based on Friday fish fry. I haven't been any other days. But I really appreciate the fish fry spread, changing specials, and the overall service here. It's our go to spot.
Great little bar with a spectacular view of the lake. Very entertaining bar staff also!
