First drink was $4.50. Next was $6. Ordered a rare steak sandwich. Confirmed it would be a ribeye. Added mushrooms. Served chopped up dry well done pieces, like a dry French dip (without au jus & they do have a French dip sandwich on the menu). 5 mushroom pieces. Talked with the owner. Was told they "used to have a steak sandwich & that the cook must have chopped it up after tenderizing". A description for the steak sandwich should read "chopped steak". The food was great. It was hot and delicious. We sat inside by the lake watching the water softly go by. Beautiful.Parking: It's on highway 44. Angled asking. No wheelchair accessible.Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of room for a family.

Lakeview is the only spot in the area we consider going on Saturday nights for the last 20 years. This place has the best broasted chicken around along with walleye on Friday's. Randy and Shanda, the owners, work the bar themselves almost every weekend and Shanda is there all the time during the week!
