TLDR: Great place, particularly on Friday evenings when the menu is larger, but I don't think you'll ever be disappointed! Steve was an attentive and charming host for my gf and me. After stuffed jalapenos (yum!), she did the Haddock, I did the Chicken in the Pumpkin Patch, each paired with ciders. We stayed for the pecan truffle, which was well worth the kcals! The restaurant is two parts: bar (lively dining) and traditional seating in a separate room (quiet dining,...
We walked in just as they were opening at 4pm. The bartender and waitress greeted us right away and offered us to sit down. They explained they were short staffed but all went smoothly. We ordered our drinks and food. They have a great selection of beers, ciders and wine. The food tasted excellent. The brioche bun added flavor and all our food (5 people) came out in a timely manner together. The waitress explained the history of the place. Overall it was great food and friendly...
I've seen several events held at the attic. Always impressive and well done. But there's a hidden gem being cut, shaped, and polished there! Monday nights they have an open mic comedy session. They have a diverse group of young, (and young to it) stand up comedians You can watch them work on new jokes, concepts and premises. They're a very inviting group. The guys that run it are Adam W and Ross H. Very friendly and welcoming.
