I don't normally like writing negative reviews, but this place deserves it. I got a skillet with scrambled eggs and a coffee. The skillet was about as bland as you could ask for. I needed to drown it in the "no label" hot sauce they have (sort of tastes like Tabasco, but I am not sure). The coffee was the WORST I have ever had at a breakfast place and make me have flashbacks of my time in the military. This stuff was in drinkable!!!

The service is some odd order at the counter and pickup your food like it wants to be a fast food place. The staff had no idea that they were selling and we had to ask for multiple different items after they just asked us if we wanted something (like English muffin instead or toast).

The location is terrible on a corner that has no cross street pass throughs so you have to make some u turns to get in it out of the lot.

Just go to Cafe' Algora about 2 minutes down the road and you will have NON of these negatives.

I work about two minutes up the street so i usually call in my order for lunch and pick it up. Despite how busy they always are, my foot is always ready insanely fast! Staff is always so sweet and multiple people greet me. The food is perfect and healthy, just what I’m looking for during a lunch break at work! They do it all!

Delicious and stress free catering for our daughter’s baby shower!
Do not hesitate to let Ally’s handle your catering needs.
Plentiful!
Huge portions for a large gathering and they were so helpful with deciding what and how much to order!!
The wraps, sandwiches, huge salad and chips were so yummy!
Then we also ordered cupcakes and flourless cake (which was to die for)!!
Thanks Ally’s
I’m talking you up!!

A must stop for breakfast. Staff are friendly, dining area is clean, and food is delicious. If you are in the Menomonee Falls area start your day right by treating yourself to a great breakfast.

So I feel like the Bistro part of the name is misleading. It's a café+bar that serves food. Including needing to order at a counter. But likely I just have a wrong definition of bistro in my head.
The white chocolate mocha was actually to my liking. The eggs were all done to our liking, the sausage and bacon were cooked to where I was satisfied. And my mom's waffle looked the right color.
Everything else was dark and crispy. To the point where my mom was calling it burnt. This includes the French toast which is a style of French toast, but not one I like. I like my French toast to be a bit more custardy and pale golden with some leopard spotting. This was nut brown all over. They gave almost no butter for it.
And my wife's corned beef hash just looked really bad to me. The corned beef wasn't really chopped well enough.

Parking: Inconvenient if you have mobility issues. I would actively avoid this place if you're using a walker/rollator.

Young staff struggles at the register. Chocolate chip pancakes were no more than waffles with a cup of chocolate chips. They served my GF coffee in a to go cup with our meal, which we were eating inside. Everyone else had a nice mug, including me. I wouldn't go there for food. Maybe a cup of coffee, which they have plenty of. Hard to mess that up.

Dietary restrictions: No egg substitute. They do have oat milk and milk substitutions.

I used Ally’s catering service for a family luncheon for 75 people. They communicated clearly with me beforehand giving me all the info I needed. They delivered and set up on time, the presentation was beautiful—fresh, colorful and pretty! Everyone there raved about how good everything tasted! Pricing was fair and I am very happy to recommend them!

Kid-friendliness: They prepared PB & J sandwiches at my request for the kids at the luncheon.

First time in here. Stopped for lunch. Was greeted immediately by hostess and she informed us that there was full service in bar if we would like to dine in there. We chose the bar and were greeted by Justin who was equally as friendly and helpful. He offered up some great choices for lunch. We each had a different wrap that came with kettle chips. Each wrap was amazing. We highly recommend and will be back if we’re in the area.

Called at 5:07pm on a Thursday night to carry out a gluten-free 9” Garlic Chicken pizza. Was ready in twenty minutes at a quickly tended front desk with the option of tipping. The atmosphere went unnoticed except cleanliness. Already overstimulated, food and home was all that could register. Upon opening the pizza box I was pleasantly surprised to find a topping filled pizza and an extra lined bottom. Some chicken chunks were a little too large but were delicious along with crust and entire pizza. Not bad for $15! Will be returning.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free 9” pizza crust available for all pizzas for $2 each. Delicious, not Udi’s

Very good fish fry. Love potato pancakes. However...... Perch is ocean perch. Not lake perch. Just say what it us...

Most importantly, the food is really good. It’s a really well run restaurant Pleasant too relax in a weekday morning. Coffee is good as well. Locals know it’s a great spot.

Absolutely LOVE the mushroom bisque. The Monte Cristo was good but difficult to cut through the crust. Hashbrowns were crispy, like I asked. I've been here twice and plan on more visits.

Update: Today, I had the roasted grape croissant. The chicken was unbearably dry. I ended up taking it off the sandwich. I did enjoy the roasted grapes with the brie.

Parking: Large lot, but the handicapped spaces are furthest from the building, which makes no sense.

Food was ok. The hollandaise on the Benedict was a bit foamy and spicy, not smooth and creamy.
