Been going there for years and plan on going for years to come
Great special squid order see u soon!
We went to Harvey Moy’s for the first time tonight. Was excellent!
I came in for the first time tonight after living here for a year. I’ve heard nothing but good things. I was shocked about how amazing the food and the experience was even knowing going in it was so highly recommended. They were actually closed when I walked in. But the owner turned on the grill and opened the bar just for us. The food? Perfect. The best Chinese food I’ve ever had in 40 years and living in 8 different states. The owner himself took care of us and treated me and my girlfriend like royalty. I’m the GM of a local club and bar and I was taken aback by the service and quality. 12 out of 10 I would recommend. And I will DEFINITELY be back. Elliot Moy is the GOAT. Thank y’all so much! I will be back! And often!
Must try the egg rolls! You will never have a better egg roll in your life. Order Hong Kong noodles! Love this place! Been coming here since the early 90’s!
Was so pumped to go after Bob Eucher’s article. But it didn’t measure up. I worried when I saw soups were $2. I had sweet and sour—terrible. Think they need new recipe. Husband had egg drop. Both were very salty and unedible☹️. Next. Crab Rangoon. Had gotten rave reviews. I didnt find any recipe that doesn’t use cream cheese—but they don’t. The crab was plentiful though. I ended up bringing them home and adding cream cheese and zapping in air fryer. Yummy. Our entrees were good. I had a combination scallop, shrimp, and chicken with noodles. The noodles were all stuck together in clumps and I would have preferred a white sauce than the thick brown sauce it came with. My husband was very happy with his General Tso.
What they call Peking duck is a roast duck served with bao buns! No crispy skin no mandarin pancakes, very disappointed
I used to really enjoy Harvey Moy’s before COVID, but unfortunately, my recent visit changed that. The shrimp fried rice and lo mein were both incredibly bland — neither dish had much flavor at all. It was disappointing, especially considering the $55 total for the meal.
On a positive note, the waitstaff were very kind and understanding when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food, which I appreciated.
That said, the quality just isn’t what it used to be, and I won’t be returning.
Food was a joke. Really??!! Spaghetti was used for lo mein?!! And bland on top of that!! Peking Duck was ok, just not worth $27. I’ve had better elsewhere. Sweet and sour chicken was mediocre. Fried rice was bland. Not worth the $66 I paid. Sorry. First and last time.
Legendary place with a 3 generational history back to the 1920s!! Food was decent.

Absolutely wonderful meal and atmosphere. Family friendly or date night restaurant with a uniquely small town Wisconsin feel. I've had authentic Chinese cuisine all over America and this is a unique dining experience worth visiting more than once.
Vegetarian options: There is a specific, small section for vegetarian options, but many dishes could easily be made without meat.
Parking: Free public lot steps from the restaurant. Free street parking also available.
Kid-friendliness: The staff and owners were very accommodating to our 15 month son. Other patrons had young children also. The chatter in the restaurant largely drowns out and noise from children.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps. May need someone to help with doors upon entry.

Went in for egg rolls and shrimp fried rice. The egg rolls were full of sweet cabbage. The rice was gummy and had no flavor. To top it off the owner gave me stale fortune cookies. Don’t waste your time or money here.

My husband and I stopped into Harvey Moy's for the first time and it was amazing! The server was so welcoming and friendly and the dining area was clean and well decorated. I must say I am extremely shocked - for the prices of the meals, they have HUGE portions! We ordered the egg roll and soup add on for only $3 and the egg roll was the biggest we've seen. All made fresh. We tried two different soups - Wonton and Egg Drop. While those were not our favorite (first time trying) everything else was on point. The Crab Rangoons were my favorite and we're massive. One Rangoon was the size of 2-3 typical ones elsewhere. They were stuffed with more crab than cream cheese, a true deal. We were full by the time our entrees came around! The Orange Chicken was crunchy and sweet and the Mongolian Beef with Fun Chow noodles were tasty. We brought a ton of leftovers (three containers!) back to the hotel. Outstanding flavor and service. Even more, we got a cookie with our bill!
