I just looooooove this place! So. damn. good. The atmosphere, the owners. Chef's kiss!

If there is anything I would request: dishes. Immaculate food need real dishes. I need to hear the fork on the plate.

Finally, it's SO clean. From the aroma at the door to the bathrooms. It smells, looks, and feels so clean.

Super friendly and great bbq. The tri tip, pork belly and smoked wings were all great. You can tell they take great care whatever they do and it shows in the food. You will not be disappointed in this place.

The Tri Tip would very likely be what I would request my last meal to be. Yes, it's that good. Beyond that, you won't find two people who are more passionate about their craft than Jonas & Amy. They do everything right...and choosing to dine in their establishment is worth the drive.

They have a food truck out at the Wisconsin Harley Fest in Oconomowoc. The food was amazing and the service was top tier. Very personable people and all around great bunch!

This is the best bbq experience you’ll get in WI. You’ll be greeted by Jonas or Amy the owners and wow do they take pride and their business! I tried the sliders special with two sides, washed it down with a homemade watermelon lime slushy 🤤

We have dinner here whenever we can, and recently had them cater a large party we hosted. Ribs, tri-tip, pulled pork, and collards. The food was a hit with all of our guests and we got to eat the leftovers for a few days after! Looking forward to having them cater our next party.

My husband, another couple and I had an amazing dinner experience at Smoked at 225 and are excited to come back! Jonas greeted us with amazing hospitality which carried through until we departed. Amy is talented and so full of love and that shines through in the food and her expressions! We ate just about everything on the menu and one thing outdid the other. The collards were amazing, tri-tip of course was fantastic. The smoked Mac and cheese was incredible along with the pork chop, egg rolls, pulled pork, chicken, cheese curds, and the cucumber drink was so refreshing. Amy and Jonas have created something special and I would recommend it to everyone!

My husband and I found out about this place from the staff at the arboretum. After one of the staff shared a bite of their delicious collard greens, we decided to try it out before heading back home to Illinois. It was worth it! The collards were tasty, my husband enjoyed the cole slaw and pork belly and my pulled chicken was very tasty! The banana pudding was very good too. Definitely worth a visit to their restaurant if you are in the area or their food truck if you see it!

First time we tried this place. It was outstanding! The owner Jonas was great offering us samples of both the cucumber lemonade and the tri tip. Loved them both and we would recommend this place to everyone who loves a great barbeque. Clean and polite staff make you want to come back again and again.

The food is probably the best smoked meat I’ve had in the Midwest. Owner is super friendly. I wish some of the specials and food truck items like the cheese curds were on the full menu. I had a half lb of tri tip with some banana pudding. I will be going back. I was going to take pictures but the smell was too good to wait.

Wings were amazing - juicy on the inside, perfectly crisp on the outside, and delicious smoked flavor!

Mac & cheese was so good and cheesy that our little guy stopped playing long enough to eat some and didn’t even notice the coleslaw we mixed in to get him some vegetables 😉

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever dined at. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and the owner is one of the greatest you’ll ever meet. If your eating BBQ in the Milwaukee area and it’s not here… then your eating at the wrong place. Everything on the menu is great, from the tri tip to the cornbread.

Delicious. Mom and pop shop. Home-made from scratch collared greens also. Owners interacted with us and were very personable. Definitely reminded us of Texas and filled that little homesick bbq void. Highly recommended.

This place has great stories, history, and service. Locally owned, Veteran owned, BIPOC owned, and amazing food - hit all the marks for me. Aside from actually tasting the smoke on their meat, their sides are flavorful (the cheese curds, mac n cheese, and yams with ginger and lemon zest are my go tos). I don't ever post reviews but my hats off to you.

My spouse and I just ate here for the first time about an hour and I’m still raving about how delicious the food was!! We tried a little bit of everything and I was pleasantly surprised that every bite was delicious! Best greens I’ve had in my life! And the service was top-notch!
Highly recommend.
