The food was mostly normal pub food. The kids had chicken tenders which were real pieces of chicken and mini mozzarella sticks. Plenty of food for them. My fussy husband had a turkey bacon club. It was huge. He said it was excellent and could only eat half. It was Friday so I went for the fish fry. They have an all you can eat version but I chose the 2 piece dinner and it was plenty. Stopped in with my wife on a Thursday night mid August and the place was crowded so we knew something good was happening. Anyway we noticed one bartender who also waited tables and we got worn out just watching her. Amy was amazing and somehow quickly and efficiently was in all places at the same time. First day in Mercer and we went into a local restaurant that wasn’t actually opened yet and the nice lady there suggest we go to Around the Corner Pub for excellent food. Glad we did the team was awesome, Robin gave us directions and suggestions for our week long stay. Food was delicious and portions were large and priced right. Great pub atmosphere with excellent food and nice people.
