I get to Mercer a few times a year, and when visiting this quaint little town a trip to Heart of the North is a must. The food is amazing! The Seafood Bake, Prime Rib and Lobster and Mac & Cheese are phenomenal. Our service has always been great, drinks are wonderful and we love the entertainment! Heart of the North is a real gem!

Third time is a charm! We have eaten here 3 times within the last few weeks. We have had Cajun shrimp appetizer, mussels, seafood stuffed portobello, veal parmigiana, filet Oscar, pasta carbonara, sizzling prime rib and loaded ny strip. All dinners and appetizers were fabulous. For weekends you’ll probably need a reservation.
Dinner included bread and soup or salad. In addition the live music was nice.

We just happened in on Italian night (Tuesday) we got there early and sat right down. I would highly recommend the curds. If you're not early you'll need reservations we heard many people had to come back an hour later because the bar was full(small place). Not your usual bar food. Would definitely recommend.
