The food and service is great, but the restaurant smells heavily like plug-in air fresheners, so I had to remove a star. They are mounted on the walls everywhere in this place and it's so overwhelming I won't be back unless they stop using them. Please! Most of the joy of eating is the sense of smell, and when you fill the air with synthetic fragrances, it ruins the experience of enjoying the food. Not to mention it's making your workers and customers sick.
Great food in a casual booth-style restaurant. The chimi lunch special and a peach margarita were perfect after a long series of hikes. Family friendly, offers a lunch buffet, but mostly really good food at reasonable prices.
Oh my! Such a great lunch buffet here!!! Seafood, excellent Mexican selection, churros, great service, solid prices, and partner says the 2 for 1 margaritas were great too. Worth a little drive (by Council Grounds State Park). We will be back!
