“We love the pizza we buy at The Pizza Shop in Merrill. Not only does it have a nice flavor, it has a crispy crust reminiscent of piecrust. Since we live some distance away, we take home frozen pizzas which are sold half off the second pizza any day, any time.”

“This is my favorite restaurant in the U.S. Every time I go to Wis. we go there as often as we can while in town. Diane and Lee are the best. They are so friendly, do anything they can possibly do for you, and the food is just fantastic. Can't wait to get back there again.”

They outdoor decor is always enjoyable to walk around. There's always more things added.
There's a boat landing that's nice to launch your vessel.
Wish the parking lot was bigger for it's usually full and parking on the road isn't always best.

“Went for dinner Friday night, heard great things for years but never really venture up that way to check it out so, why not? Very lively crowd upon entering and busy so that’s all good signs to me, got seated right away and the waitress we had was great. Let me tell you, this was above my expectations. For a small country bar in the middle of nowhere it felt like home and I can’t wait to go back again.”

“The crew at Polka-Dotted Pie did an amazing job!. I called from Michigan to make plans for a funeral reception in Wisconsin. Jen made it as easy as could be. She even went out of her way to get a few extras that are not normally on her list. The food was amazing - we had several platters of wraps and several of sandwiches, along with a Ceasar salad, garlic bread and a pasta salad. We also had 2 beautiful cakes and plenty of beverages. Everyone commented on the excellent quality of the food. The set-up, presentation and clean-up was just as thorough and well done as it could have been. We ordered extra food because some attendees came a long way. Everyone was thrilled to take snacks for the ride home. Thanks Jen, and company, for making the event go smoothly and deliciously!”

“We are from out of town and just googled pizza places in Merrill ,WI. Hugo's sounded good. Cute place you call to order and drive up to pick up. The girl working was so nice and the pizza was awesome. Plenty of sauce ,veges and sausage. Crust was fantastic. If your ever in Merril you need to check it out!”

“THIS is the place for your Chinese cravings. Authentic, fresh and delicious every single time. We’re repeat customers easily! Never had a poor experience or meal from here. FAIR WARNING: It is a ONE MAN show back there, owner does all of the cooking and order taking himself. It will be about an hour or so wait on busy nights. Don’t let that turn you off though! It is worth the wait.”
