“Pretty good food. Very nice waitresses. Good prices. It’s more like the truck stop restaurants of days gone by. Happy to find this place and will return.I want to mention that the side salad I ordered was very fresh and flavorful. I do appreciate that!“
“Very nice remodeled inside what had been the bar area. We had lunch and we both were extremely stuffed after eating. I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with fries for my side. My sandwich had plenty of lettuce, cheese and bacon which was made perfectly. My brother had the works burger which has onion rings, bacon and lettuce, tomato, cheese and was huge! The fries were nicely crispy and brown. They offer many drinks including many local beers.“
“Best customer service I've received in a long time. Our family came and ate, short wait for hot fresh food, miscommunication on the family fry haha but was met with them going the extra mile, real character, we will be coming back when in the area! Oh note - they do not take $100 bills :)“
“This is a true hidden gem in Central Wisconsin! They are known for their broasted chicken which is amazing! I also tried their broasted fish which had a light breading and was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were also delicious and their homemade coleslaw was to die for. I also couldn't resist trying the maple bacon cheese curds. The service and atmosphere made this casual bar and grill experience a 12 out of 10 in my book! ?“
“There were 13 of us eating last night and food was really good and service was great. We all got our food at the same time and it was hot. Awesome burgers and onion rings were great. Some had the pulled pork and it was good as well. Nice little hometown bar with tables. Would recommend eating here, reasonably priced and great food.“
“Great small town bar feel and a very clean well kept place. I had a burger overflowing with bacon and a special house sauce. Definitely recommend. They also had a salad bar that I didn't look at but several other patrons were eating.“
“Amazing service from staff that remembers customers, provides a nice atmosphere to enjoy tasty food that is at reasonable prices with awesome sized portions. I always leave with leftovers because the portions are plentiful and I can't leave without ordering pie to take home. The Elvis pie is awesome but honestly all the desserts are amazing. My favorite place to go eat while spending time with my mom on our daughter and Mom days!Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is owned by a very family oriented couple with staff that consist of a lot of the owners family and other staff that are treated like family. Kids are welcomed and even some of the owners grandkids and present at times stopping to grab a little bite to eat with their parents.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp area on front sidewalk to access the front door.“
“The best fast food restaurant in Merrill. The food is always great. It's always clean inside with a friendly staff. The drive thru takes more time due to them making the food from scratch. The prices have gone up, but I feel you get better food than McDonald's.“
“We had a wake for our beloved sister in law here. There were a few decorations, I don't know if they were put there for whomever was using the room next, but they were delicate and in good taste. The food was absolutely perfect! We had the option to take the left overs home, or we could donate them to the local homeless, which was such a cool idea we donated, even though it was very tempting to take home because it was so delicious.Bartender was very nice, as were the cooks. Would definitely recommend this place for a small wedding reception, funeral, or family reunion.“
“My Husband and I stopped here for lunch while waiting for our dog to get groomed at The Pet Spa. We each ordered a burger-phenomenal! Leah was working and she was great, personable and fun! Zing Zang for bloodies and they were delicious. Highly reccomend.“
“As with most local businesses, this business is under staffed and the employees are overwhelmed/overworked by the extra workload they endure. I recommend that you call ahead and make a reservation so that they can plan accordingly. We had a reservation, but still had a wait in the bar area, but it was well worth it. The cheese curds and potato skins were some of the best appetizers we have ever had anywhere and made from scratch. Friday night fish fry and we had perch which was 3 pieces and cod which was 2 pieces. It came with your choice of potato along with salad or coleslaw. Everything tasted great including the before dinner drinks. The bloody mary was awesome. The environment brought back memories when I was little and every Friday night my parents would go to the numerous supper clubs around the area. There was no fancy fluff just good wholesome food, spirts and candle lit tables. These supper clubs are now dwindling. Please, don't be rude and have empathy to the workers because they are trying their best dealing with the understaffing.“
“A fantastic family owned business where the married couple run the show. Lee is a Vietnam vet and the pro behind the bar while Dianne runs around entertaining the guests making sure this well oiled machine of a gem is operating smoothly...which it always is. Friday Fish Fry is their specialty so get their early. Order at the service desk what you want to eat and then wait at the bar for your number gets called to sit down. Bring cash! Very limited cell signal! ATM on site because they don't take cards. Their deep fried mussels are 100 out of 100.“
