“We were looking for somewhere to have Sunday breakfast and we referred to Lisa’s pub and grub. We had their southwestern omelette and bloody Mary’s food was awesome. If you’re looking for great food go to Lisa’s pub and grub. They have weekly specials also tacos sloppy Joe’s just to name a few. We also had a great conversation with Lisa and Sam.“
“Great old dive! You can buy rubbers next to the bathroom. Cave like setting, but the food and the specials make this place great! Anything you can imagine to drink they have it. They are just off the lake (Lake Alice) behind Pine Point Resort. Stop in for the ambience and great food. eat outdoors.“
“First time customers. We were a little unsure about going in. It was Friday night and a group of bikers had stopped for dinner. Were they going to be a rowdy bunch? We went in anyway. Yes it was loud and they were having a good time but they left shortly after. Then it calmed down. Music wasn't to loud. We saw a wide array of people, from a 6 month old-to the elderly. Some families with kids, some groups.I had chicken wings, and I must say, they were some of the best wings I have ever had. They were crisp on the outside, nice and hot on the inside. I had them plain and they tasted great without any sauce. They came with fries.. the fries could use some flavor. No salt. They are missing a great opportunity to make the wings shine even more.My husband had the Cajun chicken sandwich. He said it had a pleasant burn and he likes hot stuff.Staff were attentive and pleasant and kept the drinks refilled.“

Billy Bob, and 2. Bar pizza as an appetizer choice.Bonus was the Diet Mountain Dew drink options, which is never an option in some other parts of the US when asked if you want a Coke and what kind of Coke.“
“It was our first time having fish here since Dave and Danyele took over! Very good! We’ve been coming here for over 20 years and we’re happy to say that we love it and will continue to have our Friday Fish here when we’re in town! Also love and appreciate the family friendly atmosphere!“
“This is one of the few true local bars left that has not been over-run with tourists. The locals keep it plenty busy. The food is good and the service has been good. JeriLyn is a top notch bartender and it is a nice looking little bar on the water.“

“They deserve 4 stars. That said. When they serve bad food, and with price's they wah they are. Should be noted. I ordered the brisket burger. Tasted like it was microwaved. I had burger King for lunch. That was better. And about the same price. All the other times. The food is really good and worth the price. One bad experience isn't gonna stop me. But if it persists. Idc. I'll take my money elsewhere“
“I've been stopping here as part of an annual trip for several years. The dining experience has always been enjoyable. Since the remodel and new ownership it has been exceptional. Most recently we were treated to specialty cocktails from the bar and appetizer recommendations. The main course was the best steak I can recall. The service from hostess to the bartender to the waitress was exceptional. This restaurant really is a hidden gem in the northwoods. I would highly recommend Bootleggers to everyone looking for a fine dining experience.“
“My husband and I had a great dinner here last night. Wonderful service and a great meal. We started with a drink at the bar and then were seated in the dining room for dinner. Very nice atmosphere all around. Myhusband got the ribs, and I had the chicken cordon bleu. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend this place and we will be returning.“
