I stop here every time I come to visit family! They have good classic hamburgers/cheeseburgers and fries. It is drive thru only now but I've always taken it to go. The #1 value pack is a good deal. Make sure to note if you want them plain or with condiments/pickles. Shakes are good too! My one negative is that they use styrofoam cups instead of paper or a recyclable plastic. But that's not a deal-breaker. I definitely recommend Chips for anyone needing to eat in Merrill!
This is what a burger joint ought to be. These burgers are everything you want out of a drive through window: fresh off the grill, slathered with real grilled onions and mustard, topped with pickles, amd handed to you still steaming in paper bag--all for under $5.

I went to chips today on August 14, 2025 around 1:49 PM and ordered my food got up to pay and was told the truck in front of me paid for my meal. I don’t know who you are but I just wanted to say thank you for the kind gesture
And of course, my food was delicious
