Everything was delicious and with the large portions, I have left overs.
Service - Great, friendly, and quick.
Atmosphere - Sunday at 11:44 am. It was not busy, plenty of open tables, lots of windows allow for natural light.

He took our order and double checked with Kitchen. food came out steaming. He then checked in with us while eating (how often does that happen at fast foor places) and thanked us on the way out. “Delicious Halal food in an unpretentious space. We had the grilled peach salad, beet salad, beef kebab and baklava. Also got the hot tea with ginger, mint and honey. The hummus is great, the service is kind and competent and the food is aromatic, fresh and healthy. Will return soon.“

“We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the One and Only for hosting an incredible elopement dinner for our family! Robin was fantastic in helping us plan details and menu selections ahead of time, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. We enjoyed the Deviled Eggs, Roasted Red Pepper Dish, and were delighted by the complimentary Roasted Green Bean Salad from the Chef. All three dishes were absolutely delicious!

For our main courses, we had the Stacked Burger, Scallops, Steak, and Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders. Each dish was beautifully plated and generously portioned. Our server and other staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had little ones in our party, and they were very accommodating by providing highchairs, a children’s menu, and kid-friendly cups. Additionally, we had a guest in a wheelchair, and the space was accessible for them, which was great.

“You know the food is going to be delicious, when you hear the pressure cooker releasing steam in the kitchen. And the items we ordered did not disappoint.

We ordered Ngoethuk, Mothuk, Tingmo, and the famed butter tea. Ngoethuk (chow mein) comes with a side of delicious broth. The hearty Mothuk (dumplings in a soup) warms the soul. The spice levels are adjustable for all items.

Although savory, we saved the butter tea and the Tingmo (rolled steamed bread) for “dessert”.

The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, yet welcoming. It feels like I am at my friend’s house and their parents are feeding us.

We have been there twice now and always look forward to going back to try out their other menu items.“

“Chebs Hut in three ( 3 ) blunts. White Widow - all the flavors and textures especially with garlic bread, just an amazing sandwich! Magic Mushroom - yo, portobello and Asian flavors on that garlic bread, hell yeah!! Dank - pizza sub. Perfect cheese n pepperoni, lots but so yummy and perfect! Had fun at the bar, great vibe from the staff and patrons. My kinda joint 😀“

“Brian was such an excellent server! He was slammed with four tables all at once and made it work. He was super friendly and attentive.
The restaurant itself was a clean Olive Garden and either we were super hungry and that made it taste even better than the typical Olive Garden or this location just had really flavors. We did the typical soups and salads- soups were hot and tasted fresh!“

“Wow - what a pleasant dining option at the Memorial Union! It offers both made to order sandwiches and salads as well as grab and go items. I was totally impressed with the quinoa black salad I ordered for lunch - excellent mix of textures and the flavors of the components complimented each other. There are no tables at Carte to dine-in, but its not difficult to find a table elsewhere in the Union (Strada, the Rathskeller, the Terrace).“

The burger was a smash burger and perfectly cooked. Can't beat an egg and hashbrown patty on a burger as well! The pita was soft & fresh with a flavorful filling. “I’ve had a lot of inconsistent experiences at Panera, and I want to share both the highs and lows. I always order the same thing—mac and cheese—because it’s my favorite. Unfortunately, the quality isn’t always consistent. Sometimes, the texture is pasty, and the noodles are mushy, which can be disappointing, especially when I’ve driven 35 minutes from New Glarus to satisfy a craving.

HOWEVER, there’s one standout individual who has completely changed my experience: Kaden. He always remembers me, no matter how long it’s been between visits. He takes the time to ensure my food is prepared the right way, and I truly appreciate his dedication.

“Excellent customer service experience with them today; they corrected a mistake that WASN'T EVEN THEIR FAULT!!!

DoorDash delivery driver picked up my order, then STOPPED - a few blocks away, for >20 min (I'm 12 min from the Panera....).

Seeing the delay in my delivery time I called the driver, who was rude and admitted he was stopped because he was "waiting to pick up a friend from work". When I responded to ask if he legit stopped, after picking up my food, he yelled back at me "what do you f'ing want to do about it?!"

At that point, the order was on track to be in the driver's car >40 min, so the hot food would be cold and nasty, AND, I was worried he would tamper or mess with our food out of spite.

I called the Panera directly and talked with Paul (or Paulo?), who was the manager, and he apologized for the botched delivery, cancelled the order, and immediately had a new one made up and sent out (with a new driver). He called DoorDash on my behalf and gave me their number to file a report for this driver.

Replacement order was fast & fresh.

AND - the DoorDash rep confirmed that drivers are NOT supposed to stop after picking up food deliveries to run errands, etc. LOL

Give this place a try, and don't be afraid to advocate for yourself if you have a mistake in your order (vs. just ranting in a review). They genuinely wanted to make things right, and they did.“
