I went in at lunchtime, service was quick and the food was amazing. I got the Axo Omelet with homemade potatoes. The potatoes were delicious, and the Omelet was great with cilantro and avocado ontop of it. I will be returning as the menu options all sounded so good that I had trouble deciding what I wanted. My next try will be the biscuits and gravy with chorizo! The staff were also really polite and seemed happy to be serving me food, I appreciated that. Its awesome to have some...
Had a wonderful breakfast at Axolotl. Excited to see a new spot in Bayview, and they did not disappoint. Chilaquiles with the green sauce was fantastic, but you can't go wrong with anything else on the menu.
Had tried to go opening weekend, but the wait was 40 minutes. But we honestly should have stuck it out, because the food was so good! Tried again for a weekday breakfast before work and had some wonderful biscuits and gravy! The chorizo gravy was yummy, and the biscuits were perfectly fluffy and flaky. Sat at the bar and had a lovely time, though they did try to give me someone else’s chilaquiles on two separate occasions
