The food was great as always. We had egg plant strip and pizza. The egg plant came promptly, but it took another 45 min after the egg plant for the pizza. Total 1hour from when we ordered.
Pizza, tenderloin sandwich & fried eggplant are outstanding! Spinach, Maple & Apple Salad came without the ordered shrimp. The shrimp came after the entree salad had been eaten. We weren’t charged for the shrimp. Had Balistreri’s entree salad with shrimp on 2 different occasions. The first time it was excellent! The second time it was not good at all, unfortunately. A classic MKE Pizza Place. Really good, thin crust pizza.
The lasagna is good and definitely go for the house salad.
It's a Milwaukee classic, a bigger menu and a lot more seating than the 68th St. Location in Tosa.
