My family has owned this pub for generations. It all started with my great-grandfather Sheamus Caffrey. When Sheamus moved here from Belfast, he went through Ellis Island. The authorities there changed his name to a more traditional English name of Shamus Calfee. Shamus was a respected steamfitter back in Ireland, but in America he had to start at the bottom. The ride the rail challenge is quite fun. They have a decent pool table, and outside patio for smoking, a dart board, trivia on mondays, and friendly bartenders.
