I came in on Tuesday for dinner with my friend to celebrate her birthday, and it was the nicest night. I love coming to Centro, but Shannon was by far the best server I have ever had. She made us feel like she was delighted that we were there. She checked in on us the perfect amount and made wonderful recommendations. Shannon, I hope you see this :) Thank you for making the night even more special.
I've been going to Centro for years. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. My last visit a couple of days ago was maybe the best yet... gnudi, Italian salad, and warm bread with olive oil... all amazing! Service and atmosphere also fantastic as usual. A Riverwest gem.
We had a reservation at 7:30, and didn’t leave until 9:30 due to the food taking so long. Our waitress was very kind and even comped a bottle of wine for us, as well as a free scoop of gelato due to the wait times. When we did get the food it was mediocre. My husbands pasta was hot in some places and cold in others, and mine has little flavor, and was very overpriced.
