Don't miss this exceptional restaurant across from City Hall and the Pabst Theatre. A large and wide-ranging menu of well-prepared regional dishes. Friendly service and relaxed setting. Will bring back memories of classic Chinese restaurants in Milwaukee's past: Toy's, upstairs, on 3rd and Wisconsin, and Ming Garden on Oakland Ave. China Gourmet compares favorably and is a very satisfying option for lunch or dinner.

The owner and the staff were extremely hospitable and nice, they were so friendly and it was great talking with them. The food came very quickly and tasted very authentic and amazing. They are very friendly and understanding of any desired adjustments to ingredients, meats, or other dietary concerns. I highly recommend the crispy duck, it was an absolute favourite, and the eggplant dishes are delicious as well.

We ordered takeout and it was so delicious the entire family loved it we will definitely be ordering again, a bit pricey but well worth it for the delicious ingredients, I highly recommend beef and broccoli dish and sweet and sour chicken as well as the chicken fried rice.
