It’s one of those true hidden gems tucked inside the apartment complex for eleven25 at pabst. The food is high quality and tastes exactly like it’s out of the bayou down south. The owner and other employees are incredibly nice and welcoming. You must try this if you’re looking for soul food in milwaukee.
I just love coaches so much I had to do another review, the man working was so welcoming and offered me a sample. I told him I am a returning customer and he treated me so well! Extra fish, extra shot. I love this place. EVERYTHING WAS FRESH AND DELICIOUS!!
While in Milwaukee for my son’s volleyball tournament, we met Eric, the owner of Coaches Soul Food. He invited us to visit, and we’re so glad we did! The fried chicken wings were the best we’ve ever had—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and tender. The catfish was equally delicious. We couldn’t resist sampling the sides: creamy mac ‘n cheese, flavorful black-eyed peas (amazing with rice and hot sauce), sweet potatoes, and phenomenal greens—all served with a tasty beignet....
