Cubanitas takes you back in time to Cuba, when it took time to make an authentic Ropa Vieja. The flavors are well balanced and presentation is superb. No matter if you are a fan of yellow or white rice or black or red beans, they got it all. Definitely try the plantain chips with guacamole. Highly recommended options are sandwiches, after you try entrees of course.

Cubanitas is an excellent choice for anyone in the downtown Milwaukee area. This Cuban-themed restaurant has excellent service and delicious food. It is located in a great location downtown, within walking distance the river. One perk to this place is they are open for lunch and dinner, unlike many nearby restaurants which are only open for dinner. Cubanitas has a wide selection of Cuban-themed sandwiches, salads, bowls, and entrees. Vegan/vegetarian options are also available....

My sister and I took our mom here for her bday and even though the mojo was a little citrusy for my liking, everything else from rice and beans to the key lime pie and Cuba Libre were delicious and our waitress was nice and attentive. Just be aware that parking is probably going to be a challenge to find, but this restaurant is worth it!
