“The food is wonderful, but the place needs a deep cleaning and a facelift. It could be so much better. Clean the bathrooms!!! Clean the windows and mirrors. Straighten the pictures on the wall. If you want to get really crazy, a fresh coat of paint in the dining room would go a long way. And considering you serve food to be eaten by hand, a hot finger towel before the meal would be a thoughtful touch.“
“Used to love going here when it was a dine in and really glad they still have take out. The food is delicious! Before they opened, I had to drive down to Chicago or Minneapolis to sample Ethiopian food. After they did, never had to, I daresay it was even better in many cases. Great fresh taste, variety, loved the authentic single platter with hand communal dining experience and the servers were awesome. Now with takeout only the menu has understandably been pared back, I no longer see some of my favorite old combo meat platters and some vegan choices from before but the entrees they retain remain strong offerings with Doro Wat, Yebeg Tibs, Awaze Tibs and Kitfo along my staples on takeout every chance I get. The tongue tantalizing flavors are just something else, one of the best Ethiopian restaurants I've eaten at, bar none.
