Highlands Cafe is a welcoming spot with excellent food for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly, despite the limited parking. The Bloody Mary comes with a huge pickle and a chaser. The spicy chorizo hash is a generous portion, though the potatoes could be crispier. The sourdough toast is perfect, and the kitchen sink omelette and corned beef hash come highly recommended. The ambience, service, and food make it worth a return visit.
