I've been going there since 1977. 25 years ago we moved to the Waukesha area. Haven't found anything close to Hups pizza. When I visited my mom on holidays I'd order Hups. Now if they would just build a Hups West life would be grand. Um so yes I highly recommend Hups pizza.
I've been eating this pizza since the 70s it doesn't matter where I live I always find my way back for a hups pizza. Weather it was when I bought my first house off of Oklahoma on the south side or even now I live in Port Washington north of milwaukee and still find my way back. I love the atmosphere, who wouldn't love to see a small shack on the corner that smells this good and hasn't changed in 50+ years.
The pizza here is still good like it was always but the problem is the location! It really is a coin toss if you're going to get hit by a stray bullet as the area becomes more crime-ridden. So if you're from out of the area keep that in mind if you're coming for pizza. A cop was shot in an alley just a few blocks away not too long ago.
