We LOVVVE JOHANNAS!!! We stopped on whim one day driving into the city, came from madison, and now we stop every time we are in milwaukee! Seriously such good food, the BEST baked good and FLAN and the people working are always soo sweet!

If you want a taste of Puerto Rico then just come here. Johannas Cafe is by far the best Puerto Rican restaurant here in Milwaukee, facts. I’m convinced a perfectionist works here because everything that comes out of that kitchen is made to perfection. With just one bite, it is going to remind you of all your puerto rican ancestors. My favorite is both their sandwich de pernil & hibarito de pernil con arroz blanco y habichuelas guisadas. & their piña colada 😋

This place is never open when it says there open online. The food is great but I pulled up 3 times in the past week and it said they was open and when I pulled up closed! Waste of our time
