I had such a nostalgic experience while dealing with Mr. dies himself. He explained to me what the Ube sweet potato pie was, but really sold me on the Maxwell beef, pasty pie. It took me back to my childhood and was phenomenal! Hell, yeah
I visited Mr. Dye's Pies today and I just had to show my appreciation for not only the pies but the wonderful and personable customer service!! The gentleman who offered me a sample of the Purple Monster pie was so kind and I hands down had to buy a slice after my first bite! Similar to Sweet Potato Pie but purple and I definitely recommend it as a MUST when visiting. Key Lime Pie is also my favorite and it was perfectly tart. My only wish was to have added whip cream but...
