Great atmosphere. I did a tour of the bar. The tour guide Elizabeth was excellent. Very informative and knowledgeable about the history of the bar and of Milwaukee. Ghost tour is highly recommended.
Shakers is a definite 5 star place the music and staff are amazing the vibe of the place is very very relaxing and refreshing a definite an atmosphere that you do not get at any other place!!! My fiancée and I felt like home.
The food is hit and miss, sometimes too salty. Then again I have had great meals here too. The pour levels (wine mainly) are questionable for the price. But that's where the mild negatives end. The atmosphere is lively and just plain neat; old world and spooky. The only cigar bar in town that doesn't mind if you bring your own smoke (I highly recommend you do as they are very over priced). Very good selection of booze. The service is always great. The staff very well...
