First visit to Lake Placid Inn was fun & delicious. Love the authentic "honesty" and relationship building. The sweetest thing you may encounter is the complimentary donut holes. I had the Loons Nest(formerly the Weed Bed) smothered in sausage gravy, bacon, raisin toast, with a perfect Bloody Mary. She had the eggs Benedict with ham. Served piping hot, our food was delicious. Try this quirky place. Down a winding country road. Great breakfast. Entertaining server with a sense of humor. Simple food expertly prepared. Might have to wait but worth it. A real Northwoods experience that was delightful!

Food was great! The waiter didn't waste time and was very efficient. He took orders quickly and kept up with waters well. He has a dry sense of humor so come prepared! He jokes about how they bribed google to take down their buisness because they were too popular!Also, they take cash only so no credit or debit card.
