Chinese food in Madison is very hit or miss in my opinion. So I’m always on the lookout for different restaurants to try. China star was next on my list and it didn’t disappoint. Now it does have its differences than other Madison Chinese restaurants. I would compare this to a Chicago Chinese restaurant. The best Chinese food around! Trust me when I say China Star never disappoints. The portions are big and the food quality is always the best. The owners are absolutely amazing and we love their food so much. The prices are great. Once you order from here you’ll never order from any other Chinese place again!!

Today I ordered my usual beef fried rice, egg rolls and beef egg foo young. The food was delicious and EXCELLENT as it always is!! Everything was very tasteful!! Hands down this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Madison. It tastes the exact same as the old restaurant Ruby’s. The only difference is the name. If you’re looking for good, authentic Chinese food this is definitely the place to go!! Five stars across the board from me and my family!!
