The brisket Sammie is the best brisket I've ever eaten! The gentleman who roasts it on his smoker, knows what he's doing! Fall apart tender! I like the sides: beans, Mac and cheese, coleslaw. Great staff. Huge portion! Hubby and I shared the sandwich and there's plenty of meat. The tender potato bun is delicious, but small. I don't care, it's still delicious. Just use a fork...or your fingers 😋 Noon on a Friday.
I really don't understand why it takes over an hour to get food, it's very annoying and I think it's very disrespectful. You can only enjoy the atmosphere so long while waiting for your food. Other times i've been here to eat only to be turned away because all the tables were full. Well, no wonder when you have to sit for an hour and a half before you are done. Food was ok,. Broiled fish was good, Trill burger was good. Friday fish fry was ok, way overcooked. Service was below average. Our waiter couldn't remember who ordered what, never cleared plates, they just kept piling up on our small table. All this while the place was essentially empty, us and one other couple in the place i also thought dinner was overpriced, by about $5 per meal.
