What an amazing place I found today. The owner is a beautiful woman who cares about what she does and the food is amazing! It's the only place I found in Last 5 Years that I could get a spinach and better croissant. It was delicious! Wish I had bought a loaf of the sourdough.

The store itself is so quaint, cute, rustic cottage atmosphere. But as much as I wanted to love my purchase of, white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, and oatmeal raisin cookies, I couldn't. 1st bite in and I broke a tooth. I had hoped they would be soft, chewy and delicious. Love to shop local, but it's not what I had hoped for in a bakery.

We had a very good experience here, the service was fantastic, so many great options we had the red velvet cake and a variety of chocolate delights that were all fantastic, we will definitely be back !

I ordered a custom-flavored cake for my daughter’s birthday and it exceeded all of my expectations. They were accommodating and easy to work with, the price was a lot less than what I had been expecting, and the cake itself was phenomenal. Highly recommend!

Purchased cookies for a thank you to a group. Thankfully, we tasted one before presenting them...VERY HARD and Tasteless. Maybe we hit them on a bad day, Not impressed with baked goods sitting on a wooden plank, at least use a paper doily as a barrier.

stopped in to check the place out for the 1st time. bought 2 jars of mustard, some cookies, muffins and slice of cheesecake. cookies were so hard they were inedible, 1 jar of mustard was expired by 6 months and i trusted that a small shop would pull expired merch but didn't check dates myself, my son said the muffin was OK but super dry and tossed after 2 bites, husband didn't even try the cheesecake because the top was hard. being a 20 min drive from home it wasnt worth the drive back to complain. very disappointed

Kathleen’s Bakery is so cute!! I walked into this store just out of curiosity and wanting a sweet treat, I spoke with one of her co workers, I can’t remember his name.. but he was very sweet and patient with me because when I see a bunch of treats in front of me I get very indecisive lol plus it was my first time, but he made me 2 different lattes to try before I could figure out what I want. He was very very nice and the coffee and the treat tasted amazing!! I went back to the bakery of course after my first experience, this time I met Kathleen and she’s also very nice and welcoming! I came in after breakfast time and I didn’t know what time it ended but she still accommodated me with whatever I wanted! I had the Sausage egg and cheese English Muffin and wow it was amazing! I grew up in VA so I’m thinking she’s just going to unwrap it from packaging and toss it in the microwave, but nope, everything was handmade. The English muffin Bread is homemade plus it’s bigger than the normal size of English muffins!! The egg was homemade as well! The coffee was great of course and my mother still loves their cinnamon rolls! Love this place.

Only speaking of baked goods (never really tried the market part, which might be just fine) - items bought couple times were no good at all, old and stale. Will not shop there anymore, nothing tastes fresh nor good

Good taste but one of the cheesecakes didn’t set. My Mom paid 60 dollars for 2 cakes, one of them was completely falling apart, she was on her way to work when she picked them up and didn’t have the time to complain. We were very disappointed. The taste of the cheesecake that did set was delicious. Still we were disappointed that she was charged full price for a cake that was totally unpresentable and to be totally honest we weren’t sure if we should eat it. We want to shop small and support our local stores, next time we might just have to resort to Costco.

We stopped in on a whim because the local store a had no fresh bakery. They suggested Kathleen’s. What a treat. From the turnovers, fresh buns, to the doggie treats. Yum. The name is a bit confusing but the taste is not! ?

There are several previous employees that have said the food is expired and they are forced to serve it anyway. Spoiled meat being served, mold being scraped off bakery items so the items can still be served etc. Apparently the owner believes that there is no such thing as spoiled food and it is a conspiracy theory. I would never risk a bite at this place.

My husband and I were meandering through this part of the state and stopped in for a latte, which was very good. In talking to the owner we found out she had just taken some english muffin white bread out of the oven. We purchased a loaf and couldn't even wait until dinner to tear into it. So delicious! We told the owner we were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and she GAVE us a delicious Nutella pretzel cake for the occasion. That act of kindness made our trip.
