“My husband and I bought a cabin in Coloma this summer and discovered the Town Pump in Montello on a UTV ride to the Amish. Destiny is a great bartender and just the sweetest little thing! We loved stopping in to see her on Thursday mornings whenever we got the chance. We aren’t typically “bar” people, but this place is always clean, welcoming, and full of the friendliest patrons. Awesome popcorn too!! The candle shop next door is a fun bonus for me. Sad to be home for the winter. Destiny, we wish you a great school year and hope to see you again next summer!-- Joan & David”

He really made us feel like valued customers, almost like family. He's a real gem. So glad we tried Smokin' Oak BBQ and we will definitely be back on our next trip to Montello. Thanks to the cooks for the delicious eats and THANK YOU ALLEN for making our dinner special!!”

“Our daughter's wedding at The Rustic Saloon on October 10, 2025, was truly an exceptional and memorable night, thanks to the entire team. They went above and beyond to make the evening perfect, and we couldn't recommend them more highly. Exceptional Food and Service The meal for our 85 guests was the talk of the night! The fish, shrimp, and chicken were all absolutely amazing and perfectly prepared. Thank you cook’s! The entire staff, especially the servers, were fabulous to work with and spot on throughout the evening. Dave the bartender was great, keeping the night fun and flowing with his accommodating service. A Perfect Venue A special thank you to Kricket and Paul for their incredible accommodation and commitment. Shutting down the restaurant to the public on a Friday night to host our elegant and amazing wedding was a generous gesture that made the night feel incredibly personal and exclusive. We highly recommend the establishment, the food, and the entire personal (staff) at The Rustic Saloon!”
