As we pulled up, I have to admit that I thought, "geez, this place looks janky.". It's kinda wedged into a strip mall from yesteryear. The interior is full of knick knacks on top of bric-a-brack. BUT... the food is pretty awesome. We had chili, which was meaty and studded with beans. We also had the fish fry, which came with perfectly fried fish, creamy coleslaw, baked beans and the best damn potato pancakes we've had. Service was pleasant and efficient. Homemade meatloaf had 4 parts (meatloaf, potatoes, green beans, bread). Meatloaf and potatoes were excellent. Green beans and bread weren’t homemade, but were OK. I’d give a higher rating if beans and bread were homemade. Loaded nachos had a cheese sauce which was pretty good.

Breakfast was awesome. I had the country fried steak, not only a very generous portion, but also delicious! Also tried the homemade potato salad, hands down the best potato salad I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back!
