Absolutely Amazing Food! I visit Montello occasionally and noticed this new restaurant just off Hwy 23 and thought I would give it a try. I was immediately greated and seated at the bar as I requested but they had several tables in the dining room. The smells of the food were to die for. Made it to the Smokin’ Oak BBQ on New Year’s and the food was amazing! The bartender knew all about the specialty sauces and described them to us with flair. The owner came over and thanked us personally for coming in. The food was prepared beautifully and the service was excellent. Highly recommend since now I know what a treat it is. Next time I want to try the poutine…

Really really delicious!!! The Smokin Oak is a comfortable and clean establishment. Proprietor and staff very warm and friendly. From the cheese curds to the ‘tower’ and everything in between the food at the Smokin Oak is very flavorful.
