“Absolutely amazing! The food is always warm and fresh out of the oven, and it’s affordable. I purchased three donuts today for $3 and those donuts were one of the best I’ve ever had; they are not processed, but made locally by hand. The atmosphere is pleasant; bakers were singing.”

“My husband an I have been there twice now, and will definitely go back. Food is delicious, great service, and cute inside. Love prints done by local artists too.”

“My husband and I bought a cabin in Coloma this summer and discovered the Town Pump in Montello on a UTV ride to the Amish. Destiny is a great bartender and just the sweetest little thing! We loved stopping in to see her on Thursday mornings whenever we got the chance. We aren’t typically “bar” people, but this place is always clean, welcoming, and full of the friendliest patrons. Awesome popcorn too!! The candle shop next door is a fun bonus for me. Sad to be home for the winter. Destiny, we wish you a great school year and hope to see you again next summer!-- Joan & David”

“Great times with Old and News friends.Cant go wrong with the local bar in town”

“love there pizza and you cant get unlimited toppings”

“Our server Allen was exceptional! What a great personality!! He did a great job at explaining the food options and they tasted as good as he described. He really made us feel like valued customers, almost like family. He's a real gem. So glad we tried Smokin' Oak BBQ and we will definitely be back on our next trip to Montello. Thanks to the cooks for the delicious eats and THANK YOU ALLEN for making our dinner special!!”

“Bob and Kris are great people and do so much for their community !!”

“Excellent home cooked food!!! Delicious homemade jellies, sweet ladies, just like grandmas house!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we will be back!!! ❤️🇺🇸”

“My favorite breakfast place. People are friendly. Service is great. Food is yummy!”

“Food is good, some staff are nice and helpful, others rude and ignore you as long as they can. The 20% on to-go fees is absolutely ridiculous!! The previous owners started this with covid and the new owners kept it. Charge a to-go fee for the containers is reasonable, but if you order a couple burgers and fries you are paying more than if you sat down and ate at a restaurant!!! I refuse to go there and pay such an astronomical fee!”

“Great burgers…great staff…great atmosphere. This is officially on the go to list going forward.”

“Best place to sing karaoke on a Friday night in Montello!! Check this place out a few times and sing some songs and you’ll feel like family. The DJs Steve and Laura and the regulars here are very friendly and welcoming. :)”

“Fabulous food, friendly staff & fast service! Homemade soups & desserts are amazing! We always have a great meal at Sparks!”

“Friendly service, delicious food, charming atmosphere.”

“Happened upon by chance before a Cross Country meet. Easy as could be to get food and drinks. Friendly and prompt. But wow, the BBQ, and also the side are like candy. You'll appreciate the paper towel rolls at the tables while you stuff your face 😆 Will have to visit again in summer to enjoy to outdoor deck.”

“Always great service and the sandwiches were great too. We drive ten miles and haven't been let down once.”

“stopped in while enjoying our seasonal campsite, the belly buster pizza and bang bang shrimp, was so, freaking good. the pizza was well seasoned, and had the best sausage I've ever tasted! and Destiny waited on us and helped us feel welcomed, She was a delight, "hell yea!" she was!!!This will be a regular stop for us when we come to town, thank you!”

“Incredible Food! Prime, Burgers, Steak, Fish, Chicken, I had it all pretty much. Different Cooks, Waitresses, and Bartenders from a year ago. Great Owners who have a good name and seem to have a team that cares and puts customers first. I highly recommend this Restaurant ? karaoke? , Bands, Raffles, you name it!”
